Jonathan Blaustein has written hundreds of published articles over the last 14 years.

He was a photography critic for the New York Times Lens blog for six years, and spent 11 years as a weekly columnist for the influential photo blog, A Photo Editor.

He has written essays about international artists such as Alejandro Cartagena, Clement Verger, Katherine Longly, and Stephen Starkman.

In early 2023, he founded the culture and lifestyle blog Sunshine and Olly, and is currently finishing his first novel.
